Early Days/Prototype Era

There is 1 "FIRST" card.

This is using the ‘Missingtwo’ artwork from VIMART and has a very, very early conceptual template. It was given to a local friend when I started producing the template further and kept me motivated to keep going. A 2nd copy of this card art exists in my possession. No clue which came first but I'd like to believe it is the one I gave away

There are less than 100 known hand-made silver foil Nostalgix cards.

There were made custom by myself and my production team using in-house printers and existing card stocks to layer a new front and back of the card together. These were used for motivation and also given to each artist in the Zaba Network to introduce them to the game. Additionally I gave some to family and friends locally for much the same purpose, introductory physical samples.

There are 20 or less Selective Holographic prototype cards.

These were handmade by myself, laying on top of existing cardstock for mockups of packs and for demonstration purposes. Most of these are owned by close family and friends as Christmas gifts or excited "omg check this out" kind of gifts.

An uncut sheet of holographic test cards was sent to me from our first printing partner. I cut these sheets up myself and rounded each corner resulting in a full 185 base set of 'cards'.

These are one-sided and are cut to larger than standard card size. These are the first cards to have a Day Zero stamp on them to my knowledge. These are owned by me.

75x Complete Base Sets were made by a different printer than the test foils above.

These (minus Applith because human error) have a Day Zero stamp on them and were used for Patreon. This stamp was later modified for the final production so you can tell the prototype era apart from the production prints. The cards are black core and in my eyes the FIRST official Nostalgix cards as they are built on a card stock made for the purpose of hosting our art vs us manually building another card stock to look like a Nostalgix card. The foils are FULL card rainbow foil and do not reflect the full production, endgame foil.

An additional 3 complete base set samples were ordered. This included 1 full base set for future PSA grading, 1 full base set for our internal records (we literally didn't have enough after Patreon to keep any ourselves for historical tracking) and 1 full base set for Beckett. The initial base set we sent to Beckett "lost" by USPS  en route to Beckett's facility. The cards appeared to be on a truck for delivery and then never showed up.

4x of each Holographic and Void Rare were created by yet another printer.

Since our full production printer does not do smaller batches, and the sample cards were full holo, we used a 3rd printer that does smaller batches and can replicate what we are aiming for the final holographics to look like.

These holographic cards, plus some nonholos from the Patreon sample cards are what we are using for filming official videos like how to play, first gameplay and the Kickstarter launch video. We are also planning on sending FULL base sets to select influences. These production level holos will be the holos used alongside the non-holo Patreon cards to form the 'accurate base sets'.

The rare holographics in this batch are cosmo foil and the void rares are pillars of light with selective holographic mapping.

Early Test Print 1st Edition Booster Box

2 Booster Boxes of 1st Edition were created as a sample for my review. These have been mostly given away at Collect a Cons/included in SS5 orders. These digital prints are lighter than the full release will be, and the holographic pattern is different than our full 1st edition run will be. The prototype boxes had full odds meaning that because we changed the foil type from this to full production, any holos pulled may be 1 of 1, or 1 of 2 depending on what else was pulled from packs.
